Who We Are

To fully understand the difference between Bux-Mont Home Care, and all other home care agencies, it helps to first know who/what we are not.

We are not a franchise.

Bux-Mont Home Care is a small, privately owned professional agency specializing in customized care.

We don’t hire sub-contractors.

Our Caregivers are employees of our company. Many have been with us for years. They are dependable, reliable, hard-working and well-paid.

We don’t nickel and dime our clients.

Other agencies charge more for nights or weekends. We don’t. Bux-Mont Home Care charges one flat rate per hour, and a $.58 per mile fee if the Caregiver needs to drive their car for client errands or appointments.

We don’t require fees in advance.

We invoice weekly, so it’s pay-as-you-go.

We don’t require contracts.

You can change or cancel services with a phone call.

We don’t sit around all day doing nothing.

Our Caregivers are there to support the family in whatever way we can – by doing light housekeeping, laundry, helping with mealtime, or whatever it takes to make everyday life as easy and stress-free as possible for you and your loved one.

What Really Sets Us Apart

It’s not just what we do – but how we go about doing it.
– We take the time to get to know our clients, their families and their unique needs and desires.
– We carefully match our clients to our Caregivers based on need, temperament and personality. Our goal is for your loved one to feel comfortable with their Aide or Caregiver from day one.
– We communicate regularly – by phone and email. And, we are on call 24/7 for emergencies. Open, honest communication is key.

About Us

All of our Caregivers are employees who are bonded and insured. Before hiring, we conduct Pennsylvania criminal background checks, check Pennsylvania DMV reports, verify all professional references and extensively interview and screen all potential Aides and Caregivers.

About Shirley Kalisky
